Two-Lane Blacktop Productions, LLC is in development of a 13 week series production of BACKYARD WrenchHEADS TV as a High Definition presentation for cable and/or broadcast networks. The made-for TV series will be introducing Ed Kelly and Gretal Montgomery as co-hosts for the show. High-end production elements are being utilized in a co-production effort by Two-Lane Blacktop Productions and The Orange Dragin Group.
Two-Lane Blacktop Productions, LLC, established in 2008, is a video production company focused on the very popular and still growing car hobby.
Our initial project, "backyardwrenchHEADS.tv" is an internet-based TV show going inside the home-based garages of some of the most skilled and talented hot rod builders, restorers, and customizers. Here you will meet the fascinating "wrenchHEADS" and see their beautifully finished cars as well as any current projects that may be underway.
The target audience is the general public, and more specifically the baby-boomers, whose interest and investment in this hobby has recently exploded. Visual focus is on the cars and garages where the "wrenchHEADS" spend countless hours perfecting their vehicles and skills. In-depth interviewing techniques entice the "wrenchHEADS" to reveal the background of their involvement and when willing, some of the unique tips and techniques that helped them achieve the fabulous results with realistic budgets. There will also be plenty of on-the-street footage showcasing these cars where they were born to run.
A media-rich web site, www.backyardwrenchHEADS.tv supports the program and is designed to encourage the viewing audience to participate in the hobby as well.
Potential sponsors of the show will have the opportunity to reach their niche market by promoting their "brand" through many of the opportunities available to them. Multiple marketing techniques will provide the specific means of accomplishing this. The most effective promotion for sponsors are the "in-video" ad spots. Banner ads on the site are also an option.
As an added feature of each weekly episode, our cameras will be taking you inside the auto shop of a local area high school, where not only do the students learn the basics of auto mechanics, but the skills and knowledge to become the future generation of "backyard wrenchHEADS". The antics, the camaraderie, the father & son teacher duo, and some very cool hot rods are all part of the mix.
